Newsletter - June 2026

A Note from Civic Results President & CEO, Heidi Williams:

June has been an exciting month for Civic Results and our partners across Colorado. One of the highlights was attending the Colorado Municipal League (CML) Annual Conference, where local elected officials, municipal staff, and community leaders came together to share ideas, tackle challenges, and celebrate the important work happening in communities across our state. The conversations reinforced something we see every day: strong local leadership matters.

As we look ahead, I encourage mayors and local elected officials to consider applying for the next cohort of the Municipal Leadership Academy (MLA). MLA provides a unique opportunity to learn from experts, connect with peers from across Colorado, and gain practical tools to help lead your community more effectively. As a newly elected official, the relationships and insights gained through the program are invaluable. Applications are due July 17, 2026.

Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to building stronger communities. We look forward to seeing many of you at the August Metro Mayors Caucus meeting!

Warmly,

Heidi K. Williams
President & CEO

Civic Results Attends CML Conference!

The Civic Results team was thrilled to be a part of the 2026 CML Conference. We had a booth to promote our Municipal Leadership Academy (MLA) and the Future Housing Coalition

(FHC).

We were also proud to host a session titled "Housing Takes More Than Zoning; Lessons from Three Mayors." Heidi Williams

moderated the panel with Metro Mayors Caucus members - Mayors Laura Weinberg of Golden, Kyle Schlachter of Littleton and Wendi Strom of Lakewood.

During the session, Christina Noto also highlighted our Missing Middle Housing Toolkit.

Thank you to CML for another wonderful conference, we look forward to attending again next year!
