February: Day 6 of the Municipal Leadership Academy at UNC in Greeley!

The Municipal Leadership Academy had another round of successful sessions earlier this month at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. The day's sessions focused on housing and related issues for local government, with speakers presenting on topics such as Construction Defect Laws in Colorado and efforts to increase affordable housing in Greeley. The group also had the opportunity to tour Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity's Hope Springs development. We are looking forward to Day 7 on Public Safety and Graduation for our 25/26 cohort in March at our offices in Denver.

MMC in Action:

(Feb 11th, 2026) Metro Mayors Caucus members spoke on a panel about local housing issues to an audience of Denver Metro Area Realtor members - Mayor Rivero of Parker, Mayor Harmon of Lone Tree, Mayor Castriotta of Broomfield and Mayor Strom of Lakewood. The panel was moderated by Heidi Williams, President & CEO of Civic Results/MMC.
