Newsletter - May 2026

A Note from Civic Results President & CEO, Heidi Williams:

It's hard to believe we're already halfway through the year. We've been busy at Civic Results, and you'll find updates and links to our latest initiatives throughout this newsletter.

First, I'd like to congratulate our team on some exciting milestones.

Maggie Graves has officially stepped into the role of Program Manager for the Municipal Leadership Academy (MLA). While I'll remain actively involved, I know the program is in great hands. Fittingly, Maggie's first week with Civic Results more than two years ago began at an MLA session focused on governance in Colorado Springs. Since then, she has supported two full cohorts and is excited to lead the program into its next chapter. If you're a mayor or council member interested in growing your leadership skills, applications for the August cohort are now open.

Christina Noto recently earned her Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado Denver. We're also thrilled to welcome Christina to Civic Results full-time as of June 1. She plans to sit for the AICP exam and will continue bringing valuable planning expertise to our work across Colorado.

I'm incredibly proud of how our organization has grown over the past few years and excited about what's ahead, including the rollout of the Future Housing Coalition Toolkit. This new resource will help communities explore practical approaches to expanding middle housing opportunities.

Thank you for your partnership and support of Civic Results and the Metro Mayors Caucus. We couldn't do this work without you. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions or ideas.

Warmly,

Heidi K. Williams
President & CEO
