October: Day 3 of the Municipal Leadership Academy in Thornton!

The Municipal Leadership Academy had another successful round of informative sessions earlier this month. Day 3 - Communication began with a tour of Amazon's Den3 Fulfillment Center in Thornton. The group then went to CommonSpirit St. Anthony's North to hear from presenters on Communication including how to speak to the press, how to deal with disruptive councilmembers as well as a tour of the hospital. The Leadership Academy finished up the day with a social hour at Chicken n Pickle in Thornton with organizational partners as well as members of the Metro Mayors Caucus. We are looking forward to Day 4 sessions on Economic Development in November.
